Alcamo: Chiarelli Rossotti Winery Tour with Wine Tasting

A guided tour of our winery, followed by a tasting of four wines paired local traditional dishes.

A deep dive into the history and roots of the Chiarelli Rossotti winery. From the original local Arabic fortress to the development of the lands under the Aragonese and Bourbon nobility - this tasting is a journey through Sicily’s rich history. This experience includes an in depth tour of the vineyard - set in the rolling hills of Alcamo overlooking the mediterranean, the. A perfect way to learn all about the Alcamo DOC territory and discover its unique wines. This is followed by a guided tasting of four organic wines made from indigenous grape varieties—Nero d’Avola, Grillo, Catarratto, and a special Metodo Ancestrale Nero d’Avola sparkling wine. The wines are accompanied by a selection of traditional Sicilian dishes, including caponata, sun-dried tomatoes, and our very own breads, cheeses, olive oil and honey made on site.
