Palermo's East Coast: a bike ride close to the Sea

A BikeRide in the EastCoast of Palermo. Leave the city, ride along the sea; reach a fisherman village with a romantic Lighthouse. On the way back a stop in Bagheria, city of baroque villas.

This unique bike ride will give you the chance to discover the Palermo's EastCoast. With bikes (or ebikes) we will ride around 50km, leaving the city and riding close to the sea. Much of the route is flat and runs along quiet secundary roads. Landscape and cultural interest are based on many features: the coastal settings, the citrus cultivation, the rural and marine areas with some fisherman villages, the old lighthouse in Capo Zafferano. Also we will stop in Bagheria, a town close to Palermo, to visit one of the patrician villas of the 18th centuries. At the end of the ride pax will return to the starting point
