Description
This Alcamo wine tasting lunch or dinner begins among the vines. A guided walk through the vineyards, set on the rolling hills of the Alcamo DOC area with the Mediterranean in view, introduces the land and its wines, together with the story of the estate: from the old local Arab fortress to the Aragonese and Bourbon nobility who shaped the countryside.
From there the group moves to the baglio, an old Sicilian farmhouse with a courtyard about a kilometre away, for a meal made of locally produced food. Each course arrives with a wine from the winery, and the host pours in English, as a native speaker.
