Description
The Corleone walking tour starts in the historic centre, where narrow streets and sun-baked squares carry the traces of a long story. Your guide was born and raised in Corleone, so the tales of tradition, power, the Mafia and daily life come from lived experience, and you are welcome to ask anything.
Old photographs and first-hand accounts bring the past into the present as you walk. The route continues to the International Documentation Centre on Mafia and Anti-Mafia, where images and testimonies cover the dark years of organised crime and the civic resistance that changed Sicilian history.
The last stretch leads to the Cascata delle Due Rocche, a waterfall just outside the town centre, which once shaped the daily rhythm of Corleone. At the end you take home a brochure with vintage photos and stories of the town.
