Description
This Bruno Ribadi brewery tour in Terrasini near Palermo, shows how a Sicilian craft beer is made, from the field to the glass. The visit takes about 90 minutes, and reservations are required.
It begins in the hop garden, where you learn how hops are grown and what they do for a beer. Then the story moves indoors with the history of the brewery and of the character who inspired the brand, followed by a guided walk through the production rooms.
- Every phase explained, from grinding the malt to fermentation and bottling
- The raw ingredients, with a focus on ancient Sicilian grains and other local products
- A guided tasting of several craft beers paired with local gastronomic specialties
After the tasting there is time to browse the company shop and relax in the Tap Garden. Beer and merchandise can be bought to take home.
The tour suits beer lovers as much as anyone curious about how craft beer is produced up close. The brewery is on Via Luigi Pirandello in Terrasini, and the experience is offered in English and Italian.
