Description
This boat trip from Palermo to Capo Gallo begins at Marina Arenella, or at Teatro Massimo if you choose the van pickup from the city center. Onboard you get a sundeck, a stereo, a shower and an underwater camera, and the whole outing takes four hours.
After leaving the port, the boat heads to the Gulf of Mondello, a well-known sandy bay, where you swim while a fruit-based aperitif is served. The route continues into the Capo Gallo Nature Reserve and its tall steep cliffs. Two stops here give you time to snorkel among the fish, masks provided. Then it sails along the coast to the second cave, passes Barcarello and ends with a swim off Addaura before returning to the harbour.
- snorkeling kit, skipper, safety equipment and fuel
- fruit and drinks, music on board
- a pickup and drop-off option by van
Each boat carries a small group and all the boats date from 2025. Dolphins sometimes show up beside the route, and the light around sunset suits photos. The tour depends on weather and sea conditions, and if they are bad you get a full refund. The tour runs in English and Italian.
