Description
On this Vespa tour in Palermo you sit behind your driver and let the city come to you, with the wind in your hair. The ride lasts about three hours and turns away from the usual tourist trail, into back lanes that a bus or a group on foot would miss.
It starts in the old town, where Teatro Massimo, Piazza Marina and Villa Giulia come into view. The bike then runs by the water at Foro Italico, calling at Porticciolo Cala, Villa Igiea's marina and Tonnara Bordonaro. From there the road climbs to the Monte Pellegrino viewpoint, with a panorama over Palermo and the coast.
The tour then reaches Mondello, one of the most beautiful beaches in Italy and only five minutes from the centre, before coming back through Parco della Favorita, then Via Libertà, ending at Teatro Politeama.
