Description
Tandem paragliding in Palermo puts you under the wing with Giuliano Minutella, an Italian and world champion who regularly flies in World Cup events, or with another top-level pilot. The whole outing takes about two hours.
Where you fly depends on the wind. The pilots choose among the island's best take-off sites: Palermo, Castellammare, Altavilla or Cefalù. Once airborne you glide over clear water, steep cliffs and small coastal towns, and the pilot brings you down on the beach.
Your pilot films the flight with a GoPro 13, and the photos and videos are transferred to your phone in high resolution as soon as you land. No experience is needed: you sit back and let the pilot do the work.
