Palermo: Sailing Excursion with Snorkeling and Lunch on Board

Depart from Porto della Cala, in the heart of Palermo's historic old town, and leave the city behind, admiring it from a new perspective. After being welcomed on board and receiving a brief introduction to the boat's areas, you will set sail along one of the most evocative itineraries of the Palermo coast, reaching bays and coves with clear waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Each booking requires confirmation by message from our staff. We always check the weather and sea conditions to ensure that the experience takes place in the best possible conditions and, when the wind allows, to accommodate the preferences of our guests. The Foro Italico seen from the sea, the harbor, and the imposing Monte Pellegrino accompany the first minutes of navigation, offering one of the most captivating views of the Palermo coast. The tour continues along the coastal stretch of Addaura until reaching the beautiful Queen's Cave, one of the most fascinating stops on the itinerary. Here there is a first stop for swimming, snorkeling, and exploring the natural cavities by swimming. We then resume sailing towards the Gulf of Mondello, where the longest stop of the day is scheduled. You'll have plenty of time to swim, snorkel with fins and masks provided on board, or explore the bay using the SUPs, with views of the Gulf of Mondello and the iconic Charleston, the famous Art Nouveau building that characterizes the seaside village. During the stop, a lunch is served that is prepared directly on board with fresh, seasonal, and selected products from the Sicilian region. For those who want to make the experience even more special, by renting the boat exclusively, there is an on-board barbecue experience thanks to the grill installed at the stern: an opportunity to enjoy freshly cooked meat or fish surrounded by the sea of Mondello. In the afternoon, we will slowly make our way towards Palermo, sailing again along the coast until the scheduled drop-off at Porto della Cala at around 6:00 PM.
