Description
The sunset boat tour in Palermo leaves the port of La Cala on a yacht and follows the coast to the southeast for about two hours. When the skipper finds the right spot, he drops anchor.
From the water, Palermo looks different. Theatres and domes rise above the shoreline and recall the Arab-Norman roots of the city. The sea is calm, there is a light breeze, and the boat rocks gently while the aperitif is served.
The aperitif is made of typical Sicilian products and street food, a local white wine and, if you prefer, a Spritz or Prosecco. Anyone who wishes can take an optional swim in the clear water near the Grotta della Regina, which is the one swimming stop of the trip.
