Description
This cooking class in Santa Flavia, on a farm, starts quietly, with a welcome drink and a view of the Sicilian countryside. The farm puts tradition, quality and sustainability first, and many of the ingredients that end up in your pot are produced right there.
A local chef coaches you through a complete traditional menu, built from fresh seasonal ingredients: a starter, handmade pasta, a main course and a dessert. Equipment and ingredients are all provided.
The farm's own products appear throughout the class:
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Homemade jams
- Natural honey
- A selection of local wines, tasted as you cook
When the dishes are ready, everyone sits down to eat them in the countryside, with water and soft drinks on the table, and you leave with the recipes to cook the menu again at home. The class lasts about three hours in a small group, which keeps the atmosphere relaxed and personal. It works well for couples, friends and anyone after an authentic Italian experience. Hotel pickup and transport to the venue are not included.
