Description
A tuk tuk tour of Palermo trades walking shoes for a small three-wheeled Ape, which fits where cars cannot go. The panoramic route takes around 40 minutes at most, and each vehicle carries up to three people.
Palermo is a city better breathed in than ticked off a list, and an open three-wheeler suits it: you ride through the streets with a live guide, close to everything you pass.
The Panorama Tour links the big landmarks and the lively corners of the centre. Among the places on the route are the Teatro Massimo, the Teatro Politeama, Quattro Canti, Piazza Pretoria, the Palazzo dei Normanni, the Palermo Cathedral and the markets of Ballarò, Vucciria and Capo.
- Seafront and old districts: Foro Italico, La Cala, La Kalsa
- Squares and churches: Piazza Marina, Piazza Bologni, San Francesco
- Castle and gardens: Zisa Castle, Botanical Garden, Villa Giulia, Garibaldi Gardens
More than one vehicle can be arranged for larger parties, and pickup is available.
