Palermo Mineralogy Museum

Within the newly established DiSTeM department (formerly CFTA), the Mineralogy Museum is being revived through the "re-arrangement" of the minerals from the original Collection and those that have accumulated over time. This dynamic has seen the Collection enriched through donations and the passion of many researchers, but also, at times, depleted due to moves and traumatic events, sometimes sudden and linked to historical, social and cultural contingencies.
