Description
A boat tour with snorkeling in Palermo starts at the Molo Trapezoidale, in the middle of the city, and soon leaves the harbour behind for the open coast. You share the boat with other guests for about four hours, with a skipper at the helm and music on board.
The first stop is the golden sand and turquoise water of Vergine Maria beach. From there the route passes Addaura and Roosevelt and enters the Gulf of Mondello, where you can swim and have an aperitif. Then the boat follows the Capo Gallo promontory to Grotta dell'Olio, a cave carved by the waves. Light plays on the rock walls, and with the snorkeling gear provided you can look at the seabed, then climb back on board for fresh fruit and something to drink.

Beach towels are available on request, and the tour runs in English and Italian. If the wind is strong, the caves may be out of reach and the captain picks another stop based on the currents. Only severe weather cancels the tour, with a full refund. The boat can also be booked for your own group, even for a whole day or a sunset outing.
